impending public offering, was generating lots of buzz, its young charismatic CEO Adam Newman

had a compelling vision for the company. But then the wheels came off the bus

investors started questioning the company's business model.

Its valuation dropped by half to $20 billion and then by half again to $10 billion.

The IPO was withdrawn. Adam Newman left the company and it laid off thousands of employees.

And after all that came the pandemic.

Offices shuttered, rent went unpaid.

It has not been a good time to be in the office rental business.

But recently, Wie Wie Wie Wie Work has seen something of a comeback, sort of.

Well, it's less of a comeback and more of a not doing

as poorly as it was doing.
