The West Memphis 3 is a case that has been picked over by literally millions of people from around the world.

On May 6, 1993, the bodies of three eight-year-old boys were discovered in a shallow drainage ditch in the

transient town of West Memphis, Arkansas.

These were the days of the satanic panic era in the United States.

The murder of these three little boys was so shocking and so grotesque

that investigators believed that they were murdered as part of a satanic cult ritual. Three teenagers underclassed and unpopular were quickly

targeted by police and arrested for the murders. The case drew international attention through a

three-part documentary called Paradise Laws in another documentary

titled West of Memphis. There was even a Hollywood movie about the case, The Devil's Not. 18 years after their arrest, the three teenagers, now grown men known as the West Memphis Three, were

finally set free. Jason Baldwin, Jesse Miss Kelly, and Damian Eccles were forced to plead guilty in exchange

for time served in order to avoid Damian Eccles execution.

Justice was never served in this case.

The three lived their lives today as convicted murderers.
