Hello everyone.

As you're probably guessing this voice, I'm Danny Kelly,

and this is The View from the Lane, the Athletics Tottenham-Hotsburgh podcast.

On the show today, I'm delighted to say we're joined, as so often,

by the athletics Jack Pitt Brook and Charlie Eccleshire. Good, well, good, I don't know what the collective word for morning, evening and night is these days. Good day, everybody. How are you? It's all right. Very good. How are you? Really good, thank you. And you're all right, Jack, too? Yeah, I'm fine, thank you. Is this the first time we've had somebody on from abroad?

Because Charlie's in Arnhem.

Away from these lovely islands.

Outside of the UK and Ireland.

If you'd said to me where he is, if you said he's in a hotel, I would say, oh, that's Holland then.

For something about the arrangement of the television, the drapes says Holland to me,

possibly because I once went and did a very long, a half a day's interviewing with Arnold Muren

for a thing I was doing about him in what looked, but probably was that exact same hotel room, I'm guessing.

There's a plaque on the wall actually commemorating that interview.

And my arrival in the town, I think of you right. Yeah, yeah.

This is a difficult thing to say because for so many years, West Ham fans have trumpeted their equality, if not superiority to Tottenham, Altsboro as a club, a team, group of supporters and all the rest of it.

And I've always took it with absolutely monstrous salt-bay-style pinched salt.
