All right, a lot of interesting news, Danny, that we've had come down the pipe here, and

we're catching up now after a few days that in summer league, it'd been great to catch

up with people as well, eat some great food.

So yeah, where do we need to start here news-wise?

I think we started in Atlanta with something that happened about 30 minutes after we finished

recording our last podcast.

We were speculating about whether I think was Mike Scottow had reported that there was traction,

maybe it was Jake Fisher, on a negotiation with Dejante Murray and the Hawks.

We wondered about whether that four-year, roughly $120 million, extension with the new loser,

meaning more favorable to players, extension rules existing.

And you said that you would urge, if you were a representation to Dejante Murray to take

that offer, and I broadly agreed with you.

And he did.

So four years, $120 million, four Dejante Murray, roughly a year after the Hawks acquired

him from this purse.

Yeah, and this was an outcome that didn't seem very likely when Dejante Murray was acquired.

And two things, change one was the new CBA, which allows 140% of prior salary to be the

starting salary in an extension.

And also that Dejante Murray, they played okay.

It was about actually what my expectations were, I think, for Atlanta, which traded as

much as they did for him.
