This week I've been teaching from 1st Kings chapter 17 about Elijah,

and I've got a book entitled Lessons from Elijah that will go through his entire life.

His life actually extended from 1st King 171 all the way through 2nd,

2nd King Kings chapter 2.

And so I'm only covering a short portion of his life,

basically from here in 1st Kings chapter 17.

And the reason I'm doing this is because I taught for two weeks on prosperity

and I used chapel services that were taken from our Carus Bible College,

and I only covered a small portion of the things that I actually taught on prosperity.

And so we ended that off for last Friday.

But this is kind of a continuation of it, and I'm just teaching a portion of Elijah's life about First Kings chapter 17 about how

God meant his needs.

And we've got this little booklet entitled Welcome to Your Place Called There.

And this will be about what I've been talking about this week.

So we're in First Kings chapter 17 and I've already talked about how

that Elijah the Tishbite, he just showed up, he spoke boldly in the name of the Lord God of Israel,

which Ahab had totally rejected, the king had rejected and had killed anybody who claimed to be a

prophet of the true God of Israel.

So Elijah was bold, put his life on the line. And one of the points that I was making was that
