Welcome to our Tuesday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

This week, I'm teaching on the subject of Elijah.

I've got this teaching entitled Lessons from Elijah,

and I'm not gonna go through this whole teaching

because it would take about four or five weeks

for me to cover this on my television program.

But in the two previous weeks to this,

I was teaching on prosperity,

and I was taking that teaching from my chapel services in Carious Bible College.

And it was powerful. I think that there were some really good things, but I had like a dozen

chapel services and I only used, I think, four or five of them for those two weeks worth of

broadcast. So there's a lot that I left unsaid, and I just wanted to follow it up by teaching just a small

portion of this teaching on Elijah.

And I have a little booklet entitled, Welcome to Your Place Call There, and that is from this 17th

chapter of First Kings talking about Elijah. And so I started teaching on that

yesterday, and I basically covered just the first verse. This is First Kings chapter 17, verse one. It says,

and Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of the Gilead, said unto Ahab, as the Lord God of Israel liveth before whom I stand,

there shall not be due nor rain these years, but according to my word. And this was basically

just enforcing what Moses had spoken. Moses said that if the Israelites ever forsook the Lord, that there would be a drought

upon the land and their crops would fail and that this would be God's judgment on them.
