Summary

In celebration of episode 100, I’m challenging YOU! So many of us are feeling lonely and unsure in these difficult times, so let’s band together to move with intention. It doesn’t matter what you’re putting on your kicks to do, all that matters is that you are committed to making movement a daily habit. Enter #thelaceup, a fun thing I started doing a couple years back on Instagram. Simply sit down, tie your sneakers before doing any sort of activity or workout, snap a video, and upload it to the feed. Click here for an example.

THE RULES:
-
Make sure you tag @emilyabbate + @hurdlepodcast
- Include hashtags #thelaceup #thelaceupchallenge
- Challenge two friends by tagging them in your post

TO POST:
1. Open Instagram, click “add new story” on the top left by pressing the small camera icon.
2. On the bottom where it says “normal” swipe left until it is on “hands-free.”
3. Set your phone up in front of you, with sneakers at the ready.
4. Press record, and do #thelaceupchallenge
5. Post it to your story with the hashtags #thelaceup & #thelaceupchallenge.
6. Challenge two friends to do it, too!

ONE WINNER (announced Friday, March 27 at 10A EST) WILL GET:
- One Beam item of their choice
- A WHOOP strap 3.0
- 2-month supply of Athletic Greens, Vitamin D3/K2, Fish Oil
- I’ll donate $100 to the charity of your choice!

These days, I'm doing something that has been deemed the lace up very often. And it's pretty

1:20.9

simple. I literally put down my cell phone. It sounds silly every time I say this out loud.

1:26.7

Put down my cell phone, sit on a small

1:29.6

pillow, tie my shoes on camera, post it to social media and head out for a run. It's just that
