Hey, welcome to Weird House Cinema Rewind.

This is Rob Lamb.

I'm going to re-air an older episode of Weird House Cinema here today.

And it's one that we have rerun before.

It is the Paul Nashy film,

Horror Rises from the Tomb, also starred Helga Linnae. This is a wonderful 1973 Spanish

horror film. And you know, I just had the opportunity to see it once more on the big screen

at the Plaza Theater here in Atlanta.

This was part of the Shane Morton Presents series. I'm to understand he's going to do more of these

showcasing a lot of international horror films over the months and months ahead. I think he said

he's going to do like four of these a year.

So if you're Atlanta-based, check this out. If you're Atlanta-based or just visiting the Atlanta area,

be sure to check out the Plaza Theater, Historic Theater here in Atlanta. They do so much great programming.

I mean, it's almost too much. Every week, I'm like, oh, man, there's like two or three things I'd love to go to.

And, you know, generally I'm pushing it to try and make it out to one. But, hey, there's nothing beat seeing a classic film on the big screen.

And, yeah, horror rises from the tomb, in my opinion, is quite excellent. This is a lot of fun.

So let's dive right into this older discussion. And I will add one more caveat. At the time, Joe and I had, I think,

largely just discovered Paul Nashy for ourselves. And at this point, our esteem for Paul Nash and his

work has risen quite a lot, risen from the tomb, even.

So this is one that I've often thought about.
