In the News:

At Amazon Accelerate 2024, several major announcements were made that focused on enhancing seller tools, AI integration, and streamlining fulfillment:

  1. AI and Automation Updates:

    • Project Amelia: A new AI assistant within Seller Central designed to provide real-time insights into business performance and offer recommendations. This tool aims to simplify seller support by answering questions like "How's my business doing?

    • Business Planner: A tool to help sellers set, track, and achieve business goals, offering data-driven recommendations

    • Generative AI for Content Creation: Expanded use of AI in creating A+ Content for listings, including automatic translation into 20+ languages, as well as an AI-powered video and image generator for ads.

  2. Logistics and Fulfillment

  3. Advertising and Analytics

Questions answered on today's call:

  • When submitting a newly invented and unique product to the Vine program, are the Vine reviewers given your listing so they can see the description of your product?

  • Although this first shipment of my product was more than exciting, after a few days of repackaging, labeling, and what ended up me having to take all the boxes that were pretty heavy to UPS myself, proved a little bit more difficult than I can do physically on my own, especially  when I am already planning a next large order. I did not find anything wrong with this order so I feel like it would be OK to send straight to Amazon next time. Although I am not worried about my manufacturer messing up my product right now, I am worried about how they would ship it to FBA warehouses and whether that would be done right. My question is do you take the risk and pray for the best to send the products straight to Amazon?

They got these little pins there that were kind of cool. They had a huge wall of all these different pins. And so I picked some out. This one just says Amazon Accelerate 2024. This one says B to B. And then I got two more over here. This one says Amazon seller. No, you're not going to be able to see. And then this flag says five plus years. So they had a whole

0:38.1

bunch of little pins family owned, black business owner, sustainability. Like there's a whole

0:44.8

bunch of different little pins you could put on your lanyard, I guess to spark conversations with

0:49.9

1:00.7

with Amazon News and Updates. There's actually quite a few Amazon News and Updates. Makes sense. I don't think

1:06.9

1:14.9

In the news, that's where I'm going to kind of use it as my Amazon Accelerate Recap and

1:20.4

review.

1:21.8

I'm also going to record a podcast episode about this with my friends that I went to the conference with. So the team over at

1:30.5

CitraC, boutique, Nick, Jake, and Taylor, we're going to hop on a podcast together and kind of

1:37.4

talk about our different experiences. I mean, we're all there together, but we're going to talk

1:40.4

about our different thoughts, opinions, experience, takeaways from the conference. So that'll be, I think, a good way to get the opinion of some others as well and kind

1:48.9

of bounce some ideas off each other. So yeah, we'll talk here today in the news. We'll talk about

1:55.6

Amazon Accelerate, all the big announcements they made. I'm going to share some of my own thoughts,

my takeaways from some of the different messages.
