Today, I'm thinking about tribes

and the tribes that I have been a part of throughout my life

and the tribe that I'm yearning for now.

As I have attended a couple of funerals this weekend

for people that I dearly loved, I was mindful of

how important it is to have a close community

when you're going through a crisis,

especially when you're facing the death of a loved one

and how the people that are in your tribe

become the comfortors during that time.
