Hello, everybody, and welcome to the weekend review edition of The Total Talker show.

I'm your host Taylor Rockwell, joining me on the other end of the line. I've got a man whose neighbor is doing yard work and he's not sure how to feel about it. It's Ryan Bailey. Hello, Ryan. Oh, hello, Tate. Thank you for pointing out my neighbor's yard boy. They've started it at an inopportune moment when I wanted to record some high fidelity sound in my studio here.

But hey, we can get through it.

How was your Thanksgiving?

It was terrific after I spent, I think, 47 or 48 hours doing the renovations I needed to do for us to be able to host Thanksgiving.

Turns out when you sort of late Friday night, early Saturday morning when my

wife and I decided maybe after a few drinks that it was time to finally do the work we wanted to do

in the kitchen before we had everybody over. In the future, maybe better to plan that

went out a little bit more, is what I learned, Ryan Bailey. You started doing major kitchen

renovations while drunk. Is that what you're saying?

We bought the materials to do the renovations, and then at that point we're sort of pot committed.

But those materials, despite paying for next day shipping, did not arrive until Tuesday morning.

So it was a hectic process, but it got done, and that was lovely. And then the food itself was great.

Hanging out with family, always great. A weekend of soccer, equally great. And now talking to you, the most great. Oh, you're too kind. I spent 47 hours doing something else watching The Irishman. Ah, that'll do it. Is it that long? Does it feel that long? Daryl blocked off an entire Saturday for it. Is that what I need to do?

I started watching on Thanksgiving evening and I just finished it this morning.

Continuous. I'm assuming that wasn't continuous watching. They're continuous. It's that long.

It felt that long. It's good, but I've got this thing where I can't stand a movie that's over two hours. I think it's arrogant to make your movie over two hours.

And I've seen three, three, I've seen two, three hour plus movies this year, including the Tarantino one. Oh, man. I like, you know, that's why I like soccer. It's in two hours and you're done most of the time. Yeah, it's like soccer's got that down. Hockey's got that down. Baseball less so, which maybe explains where you've moved towards hockey instead of baseball, Ryan.
