My name is Daryl Grove and I'm joined by a man who once invited me to his family's gigantic Thanksgiving.

His name is Taylor Rockwell.

Hey, buddy, how you doing?

I'm good.

That really was the biggest Thanksgiving I've ever went to.

This is definitely coincidental.

That may also have been the last family Thanksgiving that my family had all together.

Oh, I see.

I see.

Is that my fault?

Yeah, a little bit.

You didn't know that where that was going.

But I guess Thanksgiving is all about family drama to some extent.

So why not start off with that?

As mentioned on yesterday's show, I will be avoiding Thanksgiving family drama by escaping to England for the week of Thanksgiving.

That's good for you.

I wish I could do that because it just occurred to me that my mother regularly listens to the show.

So I'm probably going to get a text about that introduction.

I'm fine with it.

We're nothing if not honest honest. Yeah. Which will be a part of today's show because we're going to be going over the things that we are thankful for this Thanksgiving season. Yes. No tongue-in-cheek weirdness like yesterday. I enjoyed yesterday's show. I'm checking my list one more time and I'm sure that's. Yeah, there's no real tongue. There's a few sarcastic ones, but not fully sarcastic. But yes, for the most part, things we're thankful for from a soccer perspective, from the show perspective, or just from our personal lives. All Things Welcome, says you and me. Can I ask you this? Is this a thing that people actually do? I've been to many Thanksgivings. I've never sat around and said, here's what I'm thankful for this year. I've been to those Thanksgivings. It's a thing that I think people don't really like doing, and so no one wants to be the one to start it. It's just awkward. I think it's awkward, but it's also a thing where, like, if you are too serious and too sincere in what you're thankful for, which is not a thing I'm worried about on this show. But I think it is the thing that people get worried about, then it becomes this like, ooh, that was an overshare. But then if you undershare, then it's a, like, I'm thankful for this great food. And then it's sort of like, yeah, okay, golf applause. And everyone's like, oh, die, they took that one. Yeah, so that was going to be mine. I'm thankful for this wonderful camaraderie.
