Hello everybody, welcome to the Rotorov football show. I am Patrick Darty, joined as always. I'm just going to say what day it is. It's Tuesday.

You might be listening on Wednesday, but we're recording this on Tuesday with Lawrence Jackson and with Kyle Devorshick.

Are we talking rankings? We all rank for the website, wrote a world NBC Sports Edge, minor out on Tuesday, Lawrence and Kyle's come out on Thursday.

A lot of really, really big time changes this week, not a big injury week. That's not necessarily what's affecting the ranking so much. There's trades, there's depth chart entry, there's really weird stuff going on with the Monday Night Football game, which we're going to begin the show talking about.

I've already been monologuing for a while, but all this monologue, real quick about Monday Night Football, where all this time, I'm not really sure what I witnessed on Monday evening.

The Patriots benched Mac Jones, then Bailey Zappy was considerably worse than Mac Jones. The Bears converted like 54 different third and longs.

I'm not really sure I've ever seen anything quite like the performance on third down Monday evening. It was a really, really weird game.

One that had more questions and answers. Wow, I have another paragraph to go. I didn't really want to say something first.

You could have talked about Khalil Herbert versus David Montgomery. We're going to talk about it.

You could have talked about the seven minute, one and a half drives where Bailey Zappy looked better than Mac Jones. That was very fun, and then he looked worse.

There was a fun little celebration of everyone who was like, Zappy was better all along, and then all those people went back into hiding on Twitter after like, it did not take more than, you know, 15 minutes.

That's why he's fun. We had fun.

This is why I'm not an in-game tweeter.

I just like to wait to the end, except I did come out of my no in-game Twitter hiding to talk about your corn brister because he took a shot there to a place that no man wants to take a shot.

And then on the very next possession, he caught the interception that probably caused Mac Jones to go to the bench.

Just a nice little sequence for brisker right there to, you know, make a play after having such a, you know, down series on the series before that.

Well, Lawrence, you know what that was was ball don't lie.

Ball don't lie.

Ball do not lie. You can't do that to a man and not expect repercussions. And the ball did not lie on the following possession for Mac Jones.

You know, a lot to talk about Mac Jones, but it will begin with the Bears and Justin fields where he had one of the best overall starts of his career, rushed for 82 yards, second week in a row, he rushed for over 80 yards.

This time, he added a touchdown, finished as the QB five, you know, I'll ignore the fact that fields had a pick and was frankly lucky to escape without multiple turnovers.

He had a lot of turnover worthy plays, but he's just been playing a lot better.
