Welcome to Roto World football shows week seven recap podcasts. My name is Pat Carane and just a few moments here

I'm going to be joined by everyone from the Roto World team to cover the games for us today. We're going to be diving into the box scores

but also all the additional context you need to know in terms of who is actually producing when the games were competitive

who was producing purely in garbage time plays we're called back all that great context we got it all here for you

let's get to the games. The Ravens defeated the Browns 23 to 20 and the Gamework Gus Edwards scored two touchdowns in his

return his first touchdowns since December of 2020 Denny Corp. A pretty incredible debut for Gus Edwards who had his

whole 2021 season wiped out by an ACL tear they suffered in August last year he comes in leads the Baltimore

backfield with 16 carries 66 66 yards and those two scores he he was the primary green zone running back

meaning inside the 10 yard line. Justice Hill was second in snaps in this backfield and Kenyan Drake was third

but Kenyan Drake was clearly second in line for carries he had 11 carries here for for five yards

but that's here in you here and over there so it appears that Drake is the number two

Edwards is clearly the number one it looks like Justice Hill would be the number three obviously

JK Dobbins is out with that knee injury for the next month or month and a half

but I do think that the the story of this game is that the Ravens who you know who were among the

teams of the highest pass rate over expected coming into weeks a week seven went run heavy and it seems

like they were intent on establishing the run no matter what early in the game later in the game

and and they had they had they could play around with that concept because the Browns were not

doing much of anything so they could they could keep running you know three yards in the cloud of

dust that sort of thing and I don't know if that just happened to coincide with the return of

Edwards or what or the fact that the Browns are are just really terrible against the run that

that could have played a factor but it was so somewhat disturbing development for fantasy purposes

yeah really is because Lamar Jackson he only had 16 attempts here
