The signs were there.

When they tell the story of yesterday in the history books, don't you ever let you tell you? It was a stunger and it came out of nowhere. The signs were there. You know it and I know it, especially if you tuned in the last week because what did we do like nine warning shows about yesterday? I fired off about 15 warning tweets. I don't want to say I'm taking full responsibility, but my goodness, guys, there were puffs of

smoke from the top of the mountain. We had tremors. We had seismic activity. The water had

turned acidic. We learned these lessons in Dante's Peak. And it happens in college football,

not every year, but it happens. We did not have a volcanic Saturday last year. But, friends,

we had a volcanic Saturday yesterday. And if you're

watching, congrats, because you survived or did you. We're jam-packed high atop a delirious

downtown Nashville, Tennessee. One block from where I sit right now, Vandy's goalpost was paraded

down Broadway last night and dumped into the Cumberland River. I got back in town last night. I flew back

from College Station or from Houston. And as I was coming back into town, there was a rescue

operation underway in the Cumberland, which is normally a bad thing. But in this case, they were

just pulling the goalpost up out of the river. So things you see on a college football Saturday night.

Friends, Bama, down, Tennessee, down, USC, Michigan, Missouri, down, down, down, immunity. The AP poll is in shambles. The J.P. poll stood up surprisingly well this week. I mean, it took some incoming mortar fire as well. We're going to talk about all of it. I have no clue. We may go nine hours tonight.

Collins got to get to bed eventually, so we're not going to do that. But they're watching us in Longview, Texas, Welsh, Louisiana, Spokane, Washington, Little Rock, Arkansas, all I can tell you.
