I'm going to tell you why, because I don't feel like it, and I like the way it sounds. And we put out an explainer, Colin and Jesse, we put out an explainer that we recorded the preseason every week when we put that thing out on social. So to those of you who are flooding my inbox trying to do the right thing, I will give you credit, you're searching to be a peacemaker and you're saying, why don't just change the name of the poll so it's not so confusing? Why don't they look at the explainer? Hmm? Also, it's not the end of the world if someone doesn't understand a poll on Twitter. So we're jam-packed, we're high atoppe, sunny, downtown Nashville, Tennessee, a little bit earlier start than normal. We cleared it with

Academy Sports and Outdoors. They're fine with it. They're good with it. They present the show

free of charge on this Thursday, October 3rd, the Year of Our Lord, 2024. I feel like we've done

all we can to warn America about potential upsets that are brewing all across the fruited plane.

However, I will make one more last-ditch effort to raise

awareness on tonight's show, or this afternoon's show, sort of an afternoon drive special here.

I also, since there are no rules in college football, am just going to change a bunch of my

predictions from the preseason. So we're going to re-predict the conference title picture.

We're going to re-predict the playoff picture. And I've got actually a very controversial

final four, not the teams themselves, maybe one is, but also because of the way the pairings

would work and the locations of the games, I think I have uncovered a scandal that's just waiting to happen.

You'll see what I mean. We're going to talk about Kirby Smart because Urban Meyer talked about

Kirby Smart, and I think he said something that was pretty spot on. And so I'm going to

delve into that just a little bit. Cole Kublett's going to stop by early enough in the

afternoon where he's on his way up here. We're leaving Nashville in like an hour or two, and he's coming to Nashville and like ships passing in the night. We will miss him. But they're watching us in Sugarland, Texas, Alpena, Michigan, Cornelius, North Carolina, Reno, Nevada. Thank you guys so much. I got a loaded Friday tomorrow. I'm doing some stuff with Tex-Ags out there in the morning. I mean, we'll be in college station later tonight, actually. I'm doing stuff with techsags in the morning. I am going to go and do some other stuff that I can't talk about publicly. I'm going to speak. It's closed to the public, but for the second week in a row, we are speaking to the fine students this time at Texas A&M tomorrow and some other odds and ends. Not to mention Friday night lines tomorrow night. And I've got one for you. We didn't talk about this one the other night at all because I wanted to save it for Thursday. Clemson is at Florida State Saturday night. Clemson is favored by a little over two touchdowns. It's about a 14.5 point favorite over at Fanduil right now. Brock Glenn is getting the start. So I know it's Cocktober for those of you up in Columbia who root for

South Carolina, but it is also sort of low-key Brocktober, hopefully, for the folks down in Tallahassee. Kade Klubnick, quarterback of Clemson, of course, been a little different player on the road throughout his career than he has been at home. So I've got a little concerned here. It's a seven, which is a little bit higher than a two touchdown spread would normally indicate.
