Got a really big Sunday of football to break down and we'll talk about the injuries

But I got to start with something that I think surprised all of us on Saturday.

And that was Mike Taglier passing away of COVID.

And I think we've talked

about his battle on the show here for a month and a half or so he'd been in the hospital on a

ventilator his wife Tabby was giving us all updates and as much as we know that the pandemic's taken

so many lives here you just you don't expect a relatively young guy like tags to not be able to

overcome it but

that's exactly what happened and i was pretty emotional when i found out saturday morning

tags was a great friend to me in the industry we got along from day one still holds a record

for most appearances on this show was our very first guest way back in the day four years ago when

this started and

had some great talks with him on the air off the air talked about football and our careers and

life and along the way i mean if you're lucky you get to meet people that just kind of get it and

i think everybody knows what i mean by that i know it's kind of a vague thing to say but

sometimes just meet people to get it whether it's you click with them or they just sort of understand the world really well and have a great outlook on life. I know not everybody's that fortunate to have that outlook or to meet people like that, but Tags was definitely somebody that he just, he got it. He was appreciative of everything he had, his career, his family, but he stayed he was super hard working too. And we always used to joke about, you know, the more new analysts started coming up in the industry, the more we felt like, you know, we gotta keep grinding and try to stay one step ahead. But it's funny, I mean, we're only in our 30s. It's not like we're super old here or something, but that's, uh, you know, that's part of what just makes this so tragic that, you know, he's, he's gone from us at such a young age here.
