That's because I was on Andrew Cooper show over at fantasy alarm this afternoon

But we're still doing the usual Friday business on this one.

That means injuries, injuries, injuries, getting you caught up on all the latest updates,

and there are plenty.

So let's get to it here, starting with quarterbacks.

Justin Herbert legitimately questionable for this game.

I'm not sure if he's going to play.

He came into the season with that foot injury. Now he's got a high ankle sprain to deal with. The team confirmed that and he didn't practice on Wednesday, got in a limited session on Thursday. And then he didn't practice today. So it really seems like he's trending towards not suiting up. Even if he does, you can't use him for fantasy right now it's not

a great matchup against the Steelers he's going to be a sitting duck against that pass rush

and he won't even have the mobility to like escape the pocket with his legs and try to make plays

this game already has a low total both these teams they want to play that slow ball control style right now. So you're definitely benching Herbert this week. If he can't go, they said earlier in the week that Easton Stick would be the one that would get to play. They also have Taylor Heineckee, remember, but he joined the team kind of late. So maybe he doesn't know the offense well enough. Maybe they don't trust him out there yet. Either way, you're probably not using any chargers this week other than J.K. Dobbins. And even he doesn't have the same kind of ceiling that he's had recently because this matchup is much harder against the Steelers. I'm not so sure that the Chargers is going to keep this going. The schedule gets a little more difficult now with Pittsburgh and then Kansas

City next week. So some real test to know whether this Chargers team is going to be able to actually

contend for a playoff spot this year. I think they're going to get exposed a little bit. But Herbert

not being healthy definitely doesn't help. The first two weeks, they had the Raiders, the Panthers,

they got to beat up on them. Not so sure that's going to be able to continue when the opponents get a little harder.

The other quarterback to monitor, Jordan Love, he got in limited practices all week.

He's trying to come back from that knee injury.

I think the Packers are just playing games here.
