Hello, everybody. Welcome to the World to Roll Football Show Monday, December 29th, 2025, the final show of the year, actually. I'm Patrick D'Avorty, joined by Kyle DeVorchik. Danny Carter's on assignment. We sent him to a football game and he's going to file a report on a no. He's on vacation. Danny Carter's not here. He'll be back on Friday when Kyle and I got break down the entire week 18 slate. That's going to be a more in-depth involved standard preview over the week. Today, Kyle and I are just going to try to give you a primer. You know, week 18 is always very confusing. Which teams are actually trying? What's at stake? For the teams that are trying, like, how strong is their motivation? Can they get a buy?

Can they get a home playoff game?

Can they actually improve their seating?

So we're going to sort through all that kind of, you're taking it by tier, like teams that can get a buy, teams that might rest, teams, you know, trying to win their division and actually make the playoffs.

So there's a lot to sort through, a lot of confusion. We'll get to maybe some early playoff predictions, most dangerous team. Many are wondering who we think the most dangerous teams are in each conference, Kyle. And also maybe some quick, who is disappointing this year in fantasy? Who is your best pick? And by quick, I do mean quick. We only have two two questions on that but we would be remiss if we didn't start by talking about the game of the day

chicago bears and cow this game had everything it had points and it had tight i didn't see i was drinking with my friends um i missed this game had everything. It had points. I didn't see it. I was drinking with my

friends. I missed this game. They don't like sports. I didn't see it. So can you can you tell us what

happened? Well yeah. In the first half it opened up with like I needed not to have points scored

in this game for financial purposes.

And it opened up with a Brock Purdy pick six.

And honestly, you see that and you kind of your gears get turning to the James Winston.

Like when James throws a pick six, the game is on.

Like that spices up the game so much.

McCaffrey starts chunk gaining in the first half.

He eventually gets in the end zone on a shorter one. Purdy is getting rushing touchdowns. And then by the second half, I was

all but eliminated everywhere that mattered. So I'm sure things happened in the second half.

I bet it was great. It was a long day of work and it was a long day, a long half of watching

my dreams fade away. That's, I kind of forgot about that part. I'm really sorry about that. And my friends, I told them there were three people from out of town. We're trying to make plans to get together. I'm like, I can do any night but Sunday. Let me, let me, can you guess what night all three of them said was best for them, Kyle? I've got a feeling it was Sunday. They said Sunday. So I missed the game not at all bitter about seeing 80 total component. Man, I forgot that you needed nothing to happen in this game. I was a group chat with a bunch of people who all, I mean, we probably draft the same players, which means we don't draft some of the same players too. And we're all like, oh, boy, you know, 49ers' defense are so well coached in the Bears. You know, they've kind of turned around the second half. Maybe we could, oh, oh, no. Oh, that's bad. Oh, no. I got a hit. You know, my crazy the home league with the wild scoring. I got, I don't even, I never understand the defensive scoring.
