| 0:38.2 | Yo, yo, yo, yo, what's up? It's Chris Sims. It's Chris Sims. Unbutton. Connor Rogers is here. It's Monday. It's YouTube live. We're here to break it all down. Every game there is. All right. Connor's wearing his white jacket. Another new jacket, another show. when you first came in here, I was like, wow. I thought you were wearing like a green scarf around your neck. |
| 0:57.3 | No. |
| 0:57.6 | And I was like, wow, I thought you were wearing like a green scarf around your neck. And I was like, this is awesome. He's going to go with the green ascot look here because the Jets won and like try to be all like Mr. Harvard or Dartmouth Ivy League guy over here. I'm not an Ivy League guy. Right? Don't mistake me for that. But then I saw it was a hoodie and I was like, okay, it's a hoodie. But nonetheless, man, good to see you. |
| 1:14.5 | Hope you're good. a Dartmouth Ivy League got out here. I'm not an Ivy League guy. Don't mistake me for that. But then I saw it was a hoodie and I was like, okay, it's a |
| 1:12.6 | hoodie. But nonetheless, man, good to see you. Hope you're good. I know you're all happy. Your Jets won yesterday. Yeah. Yeah. Look warm. Yeah. Good. Are you happy or are you mad? No. Which one? Because the Jets fans don't know what to be right now. I cannot do the tanking discourse for another |
| 1:26.5 | million years. Right. Ah, fire on me. |
| 1:28.5 | Can't win a game. Wait, you're winning too many games. |
| 1:30.7 | You're going to mess up our draft picks. That's freaking torture for an NFL head coach. You have to deal with that. I can't imagine. The media clings on to it. Then the fans come on to it. So yeah. So win is a win, no matter how ugly, empty the stadium, the weather, whatever it may be. And for us, college football season for us in the books. In the book? Although it feels like it's just getting started in the actual college football world. There's a lot to be figured out still. The college football is going to be fun, no doubt about it. We saw the Lane Kiffin thing, which I think is a bunch of bullshit just to start off the show the right way. I don't know how college football allows that. Ole Miss is going to be in the college football playoff, but now we don't have the head coach who made them special to be in the college football playoff. I almost look at it like Florida State a few years ago when you hurt your quarterback. I want to go, and I wish the committee would just leave Ole Miss out now. I hate to say that because I don't want to hurt the players, but I want to hurt the program in college football. So I don't know if there's a way to really do that. But the fact that a coach can leave in such an important part of a season right now to go get another job seems completely wrong. And I didn't expect to go that way. Right, exactly.. It feels like it sounds like a lot of the offensive guys are going. Yeah, not cool. It creates turmoil for the entire college football playoff where there always is turmoil. That's right. But we have a lot of NFL to get through. A lot of good stuff. You heard Dave Canales at the top of the show a nice victory Monday right now for Dave canals as the Panthers get their biggest win of his era beating the Rams 31 to 28? |
| 2:54.8 | I don't know. the top of the show, a nice victory Monday right now for Dave Canales as the Panthers get their biggest win of his era, beating the Rams 31 to 28? I think so. I said the same thing to Florida has to be. I said it's the biggest win of the Dave Canales era. It has like a statement. Underdog team at home. 10 and a half point underdogs. Off a bad loss to the 49ers. The Rams, definitely the hottest team in the sport where you're looking at it and going, hey, there's not really many flaws with the Rams, right? And I think that's, yeah, I don't think there's any question. And then to do it in the rain a little bit, sloppy at some points, I thought, oh, man, Bryce Young in the rain, I'm going to be interested to see how that looks. He did a good job throwing the ball, controlling the ball still. But yeah, that was a big win, certainly. |
| 3:27.1 | And it makes |
| 3:27.9 | you feel good about the Panthers to a degree. But I also sit here and still have questions. |
| 3:34.3 | And I also will sit here and go, yes, they won the football game. But the Rams made some |
