Summary

Marcas Grant and Michael F. Florio are back for a new edition of the NFL Fantasy Football Podcast to preview the Week 13 fantasy slate! First, the hosts react to the latest fantasy headlines: Amari Cooper is set to travel to New Orleans with Dallas and could play on Thursday night, Mike Glennon might start in place of Daniel Jones, and the Giants “hope” Sterling Shepard can return this week. Then, the experts try to answer 3 Big Question for Week 13, including asking if it’s time to bench D.K. Metcalf. After that, Marcas and Michael preview every Week 13 Thursday and Sunday matchup, highlighting one fantasy player of note for each game. Finally, the hosts wrap up the show with their favorite sleeper picks for the week.

It's me, your man, M.G. Marcus Grant, still fully vaccinated, still dodging variants like Neo in the Matrix. Fun show for you on tap. We are joined as we always are by producer Justin and a specialist on the other side of the glass. Hello, everybody over there. Hopefully they had a wonderful thanks. They had a Friendsgiving. Hopefully they had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well. Hopefully you guys did too, even though it's been, you know, we've had a show since Thanksgiving happened. Don't worry about it. I'm just wishing everybody well. Joined here, of course, to my left, as always, by Michael F. Florio. And I know we've talked a lot of hot stove stuff on Monday, but there's like still hot stove things happening across. I know it's not a baseball show. I don't care. But, like, there's stuff happening. It's fun. Yeah, your Dodgers are in on Freddie Freeman, apparently. The Mets are introducing Max Scher today, and that is all I needed to happen this winter. And apparently they're not done, so I'm enjoying it. They should have two press conferences, one for each of his different colored eyes.

Ooh, I like that. Right? Someone said they should play with, like, a black jersey and, like, then a white jersey. Just so, like, whenever he pitches. Yeah, totally, totally. So, you know, like, just let's play into this a whole lot. All right. Anyway, let's get to the fantasy football stuff.

1:26.0

We got a lot coming up.

1:26.8

We got the three big questions for week 13, as we normally do here.

1:30.6

And we're going to preview all of the Sunday games, not to mention the Thursday night game, and we will close the show out with some sleepers. But let's kick it off as we normally do with some fantasy headlines. And we will start with the Dallas Cowboys. Now, as of a

1:46.3

couple days ago, head coach Mike McCarthy said he was uncertain about Amari Cooper's availability

1:51.6

for Thursday night's game against the New Orleans Saints. Cooper has missed the last couple of games

1:56.4

as he deals with COVID symptoms. But a report this morning from Ed Wurter says that Cooper is

2:02.2

traveling with the team to New Orleans, so no official designation yet about his status for the

2:08.5

week, but at least a step in the right direction. But let's just say for the sake of argument

2:13.8

that he does miss another game this week. Can I interest you in either Cedric Wilson or Noah Brown? Maybe Cedric Wilson. He did have a team high 10 targets last week.

2:24.1

Noah Brown had nine, but the thing is there was no CD Lamb either in that game, and Lamb is

2:28.6

looking like he is going to be playing. He's been practicing this week. So I think Lamb,

2:33.6

Gallup, and Dalton Schultz see a large

2:36.8

number of targets there. So I think those other two guys are just more deeper league plays. And

2:41.6

if Amari Cooper plays, those guys are just completely off the board. I know the Michael Gallup thing
