debacles at Texas and Michigan, the Alabama QB debate, the SEC West, Flexin, and why Akron is at least one of our teams of the week.

All right, Mac Brown Appreciation Day, Philip Fulmer Appreciation Day, and Lloyd

Carr Appreciation Day all came early this year.

Each of the above coaches won a national title at school at a school. That school

eventually got tired of them, got a new coach, and have since wandered around in

the abyss wishing they could be respectable again. Now we are going to give Jeremy

Pruitt a break at Tennessee for getting taken behind the woodshed by West Virginia

on Saturday. It is his first year leading the Vols. However, no such breaks will be

handed out at the Yahoo Sports College podcast for Jim Harbaw at Michigan who lost the

Notre Dame or Tom Herman at Texas who lost to a Maryland team

that itself lost its own head coach due to a scandal involving the tragic

off-season death of a player.
