Hey everybody welcome to the Yahoo Sports College Podcast I'm Pat 40 joined by Pete

Fammel and you're gonna like this segment we're going to do it every

week it's the Race for the Case episode a good mix of two of our favorite things making

college football picks against the spread, and talking about our favorite

beverages, specifically beer.

So what we're going to have to do, he's going to be the rules for the race for the case.

Each week, we're going to pick six games against the spread. We'll have

five common games that we likely will be watching and then we'll have a sixth game

that'll be our personal choice of a game and that's going to make a

perfect six-pack of picks. We're going to score this like cornhole, like washers,

like horseshoes. If I get full right, Pete gets two, then I get two cans in my case.

And the first person to reach 24 cans,

what else, of course, gets a case of beer

from the other guy, conveniently stashed

in an aspirational yeti cooler.

Well, Pat, I feel like this segment we're going to do is a, uh, it answers something

that that has sort of hounded me for years and it's something that a symptom I think you found as as you've gone on and covered college football now

We're both have done this nationally probably for 15 years I had a I had something called Friday Friends so I wouldn't hear from a lot in like

April, May, June, but come the fall on Fridays they'd all be checking in to see how I'm doing.
