Good morning football. What's up? We're just eight days away from Bryce Young. CJ Stroud, a lot of names, finding out where they'll start their NFL careers. Of course, Bryce Young, the current favorite to go first. But hey, a lot can change in a week's time. Inside, Good Morning Football. You are in the show.

We are live in New York City Wednesday, April 19th. I'm Jamie Erdahl, Kyle Brandt, Peter Schrager, Jason McCordy. Time for Lee Block. Lee Block. Bryce Young may have canceled his. That was a wonderful Broadway performance. I'm very excited. He may have canceled his remaining pre-draft visits, but he certainly has spent a lot of time with the team.

The team holding the first overall pick. The Panthers Brass made their way to Alabama's Pro Day, which was held at the end of March,

hosted the Crimson High quarterback in Charlotte last Tuesday. Many meals have been exchanged. Bread has been broken.

Yesterday, GM Scott Fitterer was asked about what many have been wondering,

which is, is Bryce Young's stature a concern?

Well, I would say this.

When Russell Wilson came out, I think he had three balls batted down in his senior year.

You know, Bryce had too.

So if you were talking just about Bryce, it doesn't seem to be an issue. When you grow up a shorter quarterback, you learn how to evolve your game and adapt and see the field. And he's done that. Just like CJ's, you know, evolved his game. You know, Will's evolved his game. They all develop and there's certain tools that they have and they learn to play to their strength and they've all done that. It's not like we're expecting this quarterback to come in

and instantly just like make everything happen. Everything changes immediately. I mean, you've seen

it with like Jalen Hertz and Josh Allen. It takes time. Time feels different though when you are

the first overall pick. The Panthers say they're not looking for the instant fix at quarterback.

However, they certainly wouldn't have traded up if they didn't think that a rookie quarterback in this class would make an immediate and early impact.

So many believe that rookie will be Bryce Young under center.

Let's, again, pick the low hanging fruit.

Are we sure? Can he pick it, though? Can he reach up? That is the low hanging fruit. Are we sure? Can he pick it, though? Can

he reach up? That is the question, Kyle. Are we sure that Bryce Young's height or size,

whichever parameter you want to talk about, is a bigger concern than teams are making it out to be?
