Mark 7: 14-23 - 'It is what comes out of a man that makes him unclean.'

0:21.5	up where we left off yesterday so we're looking at Mark chapter 7 verse 14 to 23 which is
0:28.2	the passage you'll hear at Mass today so here's the passage from Mark 7.
0:33.5	Jesus called the people to him and said, Listen to me all of you and understand.
0:40.3	Nothing that goes into a man from outside can make him unclean.
0:45.3	It is the things that come out of a man that make him unclean.
0:49.3	If anyone has ears to hear, let him listen to this.
0:54.9	When he had gone back into the house, away from the crowd, his disciples questioned him
0:59.8	about the parable.
1:01.8	He said to them, do you not understand either?
1:05.1	Can you not see that whatever goes into a man from outside cannot make him unclean, because
1:10.7	it does not go into his heart but through
1:12.9	his stomach and passes out into the sewer. Thus he pronounced all foods clean. And he went on,
