The Michigan Democratic Party says President Barack Obama will campaign in Detroit on Saturday

for US Senate candidate Gary Peters and gubernatorial candidate Mark Schauer. That

generally means they need the most help. If the president's coming to town, usually before

the election, where do we need him the most? And a lot of people are like, no, no, no, just,

no, just stay, stay in the White House. Please. Obama's going to speak about 7 PM at a campaign

event at Wayne State University's physical education center. Free tickets will be available

starting about 5 PM Wednesday at the Democratic offices in Southeast Michigan and East Lansing.

The Democratic Party says the rally starts about 6 PM. The president is campaigning in Michigan
