We need to do a quick vocab lesson so I can move past one of my least favorite words.

The word is dossier.

It kind of looks like it should be pronounced dozier.

A dossier is essentially just a collection of documents.

Here, I'll use it in a sentence.

A main source in the steel dossier that was used to connect President Trump and his campaign

to Russian government officials is currently on trial for allegedly making false statements

to the FBI.

The Steele dossier was named after a British spy, Christopher Steele, who was hired by the Democratic Party during the 2016 campaign.

The collection of documents in question included allegations that the Russians may have had incriminating information and videos from Donald Trump's visit to a hotel in Moscow.

And now, a Russian analyst who is one of the main sources

of information, is on trial for fabricating at least one of his sources and concealing the

identity of another source. And he was indicted on five separate counts of making false

statements to the FBI. There's a lot of information that will hopefully come out of this trial.

And one of the main points that prosecutors will try to figure out is if the Russian analyst
