Democrats who'd been hand-wringing all week after a pretty terrible poll for President Joe Biden,

had a very big night last night, surprising a lot of places, particularly in Kentucky,

Mitch McConnell's home state, where Andy Bashir won big in the governor's race.

But that all comes as the backdrop, Jake, really, as Speaker Johnson is facing a big question,

can he deliver?

Yeah, so a few things worth pointing out just on the election front.
