And we always start with the top story yesterday

Attorneys for former president Trump as wellorneys for the Prosecution gave their closing arguments

in that historic hush money case.

Again, as we near the end of the six-week trial, Trump is facing

34 felony counts of falsifying business records in order to conceal a payment to Stormy Daniels.

It'll soon be in the hands of the jury those deliberations begin today.

If convicted, that would raise a whole bunch of legal and political questions as we enter into this upcoming election cycle.

Also yesterday Robert DeNiro was outside of that courthouse in New York with a pair of January 6th police officers holding a press conference.

This was apparently organized by the Biden campaign to redirect focus on to the

insurrection.

DeNiro has been very vocal about his negative feelings for former President Trump.

While out there he exchanged some heated words with Trump supporters. It's going to be

an eventful election cycle here. Buckle up for the next six months. All right, okay, on to sports.

Last night the Dallas Mavericks had a chance to sweep the Timberwolves and advance of the

NBA finals and they couldn't get it done.

The Timberwolves won that game 105 to 100.

They lived to fight another day.

That series continues tomorrow night and again whoever wins it moves on to face the Celtics.
