Let's start with some sweet, sweet vaccine news.

Yesterday, President Biden announced a historic partnership between Merck and Johnson and

Johnson to increase U.S. vaccine supply of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

They also invoke the Defense Production Act to equip two Merck facilities to manufacture

the vaccine, and Johnson & Johnson's vaccine manufacturing facilities will now operate 24-7.

This means that we'll be on track to have enough vaccines for every American adult by the

end of May.

If you told me a year ago I'd be rooting this hard for Big Pharma, I would have stabbed myself

with an extremely expensive EpiPen.

Kind of a polar opposite move that is clearly not going to help the COVID numbers, Texas

Governor Greg Abbott lifted the state's mask mandate and said that all businesses can

operate at 100% capacity as of March 10th.

There are also no travel restrictions in and out of Texas, clearly someone is jealous

of Florida.

The COVID guidelines are being lifted despite the fact that Texas' numbers have been completely

declined and still stand around an average of 7,000 cases per day, because clearly Texas'

leaders haven't perpetuated quite enough death due to their negligence yet this year.

Our next two stories are straight out of Congress, as they say.

Yesterday, FBI Director Christopher Ray testified before Congress about the Capitol riot, which

he called domestic terrorism and said has no place in our democracy.
