The slow news week continues, but we do have some news on the more personal side.

Yesterday's Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell warned of a scorched, earth-political landscape

if Democrats decide to end the filibuster in order to pass the multitude of very popular

legislation that has already been passed by the House.

He said that Republicans would grind business to a halt by refusing to consent to normal

operations like even starting sessions, reading long legislative texts, and other forms

of adult tantrum.

McConnell said that what happened during Obama's term would look like child's fight compared

to what he will do.

Ooh, scary turtle.

Perhaps if we could end the filibuster and make DC a state and pass the voting rights

actions a lot, then we might not even have this problem anymore.

Sammy Hot Governor Gavin Newsom is most likely facing a recall election to house him in

the middle of his term.

There have been more than enough signatures collected to spark the recall election, and Newsom
