Hey, friends, welcome back to Everyday Truth in our next episode.

We are in Matthew Chapter 12 today.

So a brand new chapter.

Looking forward to that.

Jesus dealt with so much controversy in his ministry.

People were constantly challenging him,

especially the religious leaders. We saw that last chapter. And the problem was that they thought they knew the Bible. But over time, they had made some applications to the Word of God, and application upon application

eventually changed the Word of God itself, where they couldn't really decipher between

what was the Word of God, what was God's intention, and what was the application of man.

And Jesus, a couple times dealt with that.

He said this, but in vain, they do worship me, teaching for doctrine the commandments of men.

He said in another place, Mark chapter 7, making the word of God of none effect through your

tradition, which he have have delivered and many such

like things do ye so it's really important as we look at the ministry of jesus and look at our

own lives that we're making sure that we do the things we do because there is a bona fide
