Hey friends, welcome back. We are in Matthew 11 today in our Bibles, and we are in what I believe

is one of the most encouraging passages in all the Bible. Couldn't really wait to get here because

it's just one of those passages,

and you probably have some of these verses memorized,

that just really ministers to your heart.

I want to read it for us today.

It's Matthew chapter number 11.

And let me see the last verse that we ended with yesterday um yeah we ended in

verse 24 so look at verse 25 at that time jesus answered and said i thank thee o father

lord of heaven and earth because thou hast hid these things from the

wise and prudent, has revealed them unto babes. That's not to say that God doesn't want people to know

truth. The point here is that people that are open and humble are people to whom God reveals

truths, and people that are proud and stubborn and callous

are people that are not going to understand truth. And Jesus has just finished upbraiding these

great cities of opportunity, Copernium and Corzine and Betheseda. And yet even in these cities that corporately have rejected Jesus,

there are individuals that have received him. And Jesus is saying, in spite of what appears

to be widespread rejection of the ministry of Jesus, there are individuals that are indeed hearing the message and coming to
