It's the middle of the night in a small town on the Jersey shore.

A search gets underway for the missing driver, 19-year-old Sarah Stern.

It comes as Iran launched new attacks today on cargo ships in a critical waterway,

and we've just learned that a foreign oil tanker was targeted in the port of Umpassar near Basra in southern Iraq.

A source said that that tanker sustained significant damage in the vicinity of the port and caught fire.

Three vessels attacked in the critical strait of Hormuz, one of those ships

in flames, claiming the captains ignored their warnings not to come through. Iranian drones also

striking Oman's largest oil facility, setting off massive explosions in videos circulating online.

All of this adding to huge global volatility in oil markets

and gas prices back in the U.S. The Department of Energy here at home announcing today that

it has been authorizing the release of 172 million barrels from the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve

in an effort to lower gas and oil prices.

Meanwhile, in Lebanon, explosions from the latest round of strikes, President Trump says the U.S. is working hard to get rid of Hezbollah as Israel steps up its offense.

We've got to get rid of the Hezbollah. It's been a disaster for many years.
