Hey guys. Welcome to our last podcast for the book of Matthew. Hard to believe that we're on

our final episode, but I have so enjoyed going through this book with you talking about Jesus, talking specifically about the

fact that Jesus is king. And we've seen it from start to finish. And here we are now with Jesus

in Galilee. Remember, he told his disciples to meet him there. If we took the account in John 21 and put it

with this account, we would see that Jesus is in Galilee. He's reclaimed Peter. Remember, Peter

and some others went fishing, and Jesus reclaimed them in John 21.

But Jesus also gave one of the iterations of the Great Commission in this mountain in Galilee.

Watch how the Bible says that in verse number 16. Then the 11 disciples, so obviously they've not voted on

the 12th yet. That takes place in Acts 1 after the ascension of Jesus. And Judas is gone.

So the 11 disciples went away into Galilee. Now think about this into a mountain where Jesus

had appointed them. So Jesus said, hey, I want you to meet me at that place. Now, where was that place?

We don't know. But wouldn't it, wouldn't it be interesting to think that that mountain could have been,

and maybe was, the very mountain where Jesus had given them the beatitudes, which would have been

the inaugural message that Jesus would have given them. I mean, obviously, Jesus told them to go to a place that

was known to them, a place at which they had met before, a spot where he had taught them
