All the great roles that he has played,

overnight. It was an all-star baseball all-star game like you've never seen. We're going to tell you

what happened at the end to decide the winner. That is all coming up, and we begin with the

tropical threat to the Gulf states.

Flood Watch is in effect from Mississippi to Louisiana. Region alert for heavy rain and floods. Ginger here with the track and the timing. Good morning, Ginger. Hey, good morning, George. So we've got a camera from New Orleans, WGNO, showing us that lightning illuminating the sky. A lot of those thunderstorms are for now offshore, but they are going to come on shore.

And that's why we've got a flood watch

from Thursday through Friday night in New Orleans.

But this is not just a New Orleans storm. We're talking about Baton Rouge, Gulfport, Mississippi, all because this disorganized area of thunderstorms has a 40% shot. Right now it's kind of hanging by Appalachicola. It's going to move west. 40% chance of it becoming a named storm, which would be Dexter. Whether it gets a name or not, it doesn't really matter. It's going to travel over Mobile and it's going to have that lopsided moisture with a lot of the thunderstorms happening well west of the center. And so that's why we've got Pascagoula over across to New Orleans and all of southeastern Louisiana on flood watch looking for four to six inches of rain

But up to 15 inches as we go Thursday through early Saturday

Do want to mention that we just got that super saturated historic rain for some in the northeast and this afternoon

We've got more slow-moving thunderstorms

So northwest New Jersey on flood alert two inch per hour rainfall rates coming again this afternoon, guys.
