Matthew, Jesus is King, but specifically we're looking at the great model prayer that Jesus gave.

Remember that the praying of Jesus was what was most impressive to his disciples about his ministry. Never did they ask him teach us to preach

or teach us to do miracles, although he did teach them to preach and do miracles. No, their request

was, Lord, teach us to pray. There must have been something that was so captivating,

something so deep and attractive about the way Jesus prayed, that people said, I'd love to communicate to the

Father like he does. And so Jesus is teaching us in Matthew chapter 6, how can we communicate

effectively with our God? Just the fact that we get to communicate with God. Wow. What a high and lofty privilege.

you would clear your schedule or some other famous movie star or athlete or business personality, you would find a way. And yet here is God

who longs for us to communicate with him and day by day. And often, unfortunately,
