We're going to begin with the dangerous

winter storm that's taking aim at the South. Millions wake up to brutal wind chills and ginger.

I know you're tracking it for us. Oh, this is a big one, y'all. It is going to be impactful,

crippling for some as we go through the weekend in the south. There are places that will see

an entire season's worth of snow or double that just this weekend. Say Oklahoma City, Little Rock, all the way over to Nashville. So let's talk about the setup. It's all about this big pool of Canadian air that is going so deep south and then it's meeting with a bunch of Pacific and Gulf moisture and that's where we see significant winter storm developing. So it's not just snow, right?

That you can kind of get around eventually. It's that ice. So if you get a half inch to an inch of that

glaze of freezing rain, that's what we're concerned about trees, power lines, all of that. Let's go and talk about who's going to see what, when, and start us off with the right nows.

down to I-20, certainly between Oklahoma City and Dallas on I-35. So if you had something that you needed to get around for this weekend, please start rearranging the thoughts or the plans. You see the ice developing, and that's where on that southern end, sleet's okay, because that's the stuff that falls as little kind of ice balls. But then you see that freezing rain
