All right. Okay, let's get going. We'll start with the top story. And again, today we will start with an

update on those storms ripping through California. As of the time I'm recording this, the reported death

toll is now up to 17. It's just a real tragic situation over there. There are floods, mudslides,

even sinkholes. I saw a video of hail pounding San Francisco yesterday.

Last night around 34,000 people across the state were under evacuation orders. That's a lot of

people around 175,000 were without power at one point yesterday. This morning, that number seems to

have shrunk to about 65,000. So that's good. It's hard for crews to get a handle on, you know,

cleanup and restoration in these conditions. More heavy rain is expected to continue today in

Northern California, while forecasters are saying another system is coming behind this one, bringing

more extreme weather over the weekend. They're just they're not getting any relief. Much of the state

has already reportedly received rainfall up to 600 percent above average. Okay. All right,
