We begin with the wildfires burning out of control in the Texas panhandle. More than a quarter of a

million acres burned. Dozens of structures have been damaged or destroyed.

Well, good morning, Michael. We're about 25 miles

north of Amarillo. This is one of several fires that continues to burn this

morning in Texas, scorching hundreds of thousands of acres of land,

destroying scores of homes,

and forcing dozens and dozens of communities to evacuate.

Overnight, raging wildfires prompting urgent evacuations in the Texas panhandle.

The fires even forcing a nuclear weapons facility to partially evacuate and pause operations.

We can't hold it. We have firing both sides of us. We can't hold it. We can't see.
