Blue Angels Jets. Here's your early heads up. Practice for the Jets starts tomorrow Thursday and we'll

see them in the skies through Sunday. Here are today's top stories. It's Wednesday, July 31st.

Starting with Boeing has a new CEO, and it's someone from outside the company. Robert Kelly Ortberg is coming out of retirement to lead Boeing. He is a

mechanical engineer who used to run aerospace supplier, Rockwell Collins. Aerospace industry analyst Richard

Albu Lofia has become a critic of Boeing's corporate leadership, but sees this as a shift.

This could be the turnaround story of the century. To go from a culture that just focused on

manipulating financial abstractions, that was completely dysfunctional.

Kelly Ortberg comes from a place of, well, a deep technical background and a wonderful sense

of how an aerospace company should be run.

And Ortberg is reportedly going to be located in Seattle, not at the company headquarters in Virginia.

Ortberg has 35 years of leadership experience in aerospace.

He'll replace outgoing Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun and starts the job August 8th.
