And yet it's brimming with possibility, the new year and all that God has in store

for us if he tarries and we live. And so I'm praying for you that God would just give you a

great new year. And I hope you've had some good family time and some relaxed time during this Christmas vacation.

I wanted to end the year by sharing with you what I believe is the most valuable passage

I've meditated upon and really that I've used in my counseling, in training church staff,

Really, this passage has so captivated me. I've done this at couples retreats that I come back to

it so often. And I don't know how I missed it. I really don't. Not that I missed teaching it.

I've taught it before, but it just hit me, I think, in a new way this year. And I want to just share it

with you in brief. So this is not a Bible study. This is certainly not a proper exposition of the

passage, but it's enough to show you that this is something very worthy of our relational attention.
