And we always start with the top story. Again, Luigi Mangione, the man accused of killing United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson,

is still dominating the news. People can't get enough of the story.

And honestly, one of the stories pertaining to this is the obsession.

There are so many articles out there about why the internet is putting an accused murderer on a pedestal,

why we can't get enough.

For example, the McDonald's at which he was arrested was review bombed online.

So many negative reviews that Google had to step in and remove them.

People were saying things like, this restaurant has rats, you know, because a worker called the police on him.

As far as the latest details on the

actual case, the suspect had a court appearance yesterday in Pennsylvania, and he was screaming

as he made his way into the courtroom. A part of what he said was, it's completely out of touch

and an insult to the intelligence of the American people and their lived experience. Couldn't really

hear everything he was saying

as they took him into the building.

Once in court, his lawyer said that he will fight

his extradition to New York.

It also came out that a few weeks before the shooting,

Luigi's mom reported him missing.
