And we always start with the top story. Big one here. Yesterday afternoon, police arrested a man in connection

with the murder of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, 26-year-old Luigi Mangione. He was taken

into custody in a McDonald's in Altoona, Pennsylvania, apparently called in a McDonald's employee

that recognized him from the news. This guy was born and raised in Maryland.

He has ties to San Francisco.

His last known address was in Honolulu, Hawaii.

According to reports, when they arrested him,

police found a 3D-printed ghost gun,

a silencer, fake IDs, cash, and writings critical

of the health insurance industry.

By the way, a ghost gun is like a type of weapon that can be built at home without a serial number.

Also, after this news broke, Luigi's social media accounts gained over 100,000 followers.

The Pennsylvania governor spoke at a press conference last night and condemned all the people calling the shooter a hero.

He said, in America, we don't kill to dispute policy.

There's still a lot to know here,

but what we do know this morning is that this guy has been charged with five counts.

He was in court for a preliminary arraignment yesterday,

and he was denied bail.
