And now welcome the next Vice President of the United States, Tim Wall.

Vice President Kamala Harris and Tim Wall made their first appearance together as running mates for the 2024 presidential election.

Wednesday August 7th. Let's get you caught up with today seven stories. Harris introduced the Minnesota governor at a rally in Philadelphia last

last night. Wall said he couldn't be prouder to join Harris on the Democratic ticket.

He's a former teacher and a military veteran who came to politics later in life

and when he took the stage he didn't pull his punches about Donald Trump's

running mate J.D. Vance literally, literally wrote

the forward for the architect of the Project 2025 agenda.

Like all regular people I grew up with in the heartland, JD studied at Yale,

had his career funded by Silicon Valley billionaires and then wrote a bestseller

trashing that community. Come on! That's not what Middle America is and I got to tell you I can't wait to debate the guy.

Harris's pick came after a whirlwind selection process over the past few weeks. The post reported that what ultimately

sold Harris on walls was their easy rapport, as well as his governing record in Minnesota.

Harris hopes that walls will appeal to middle America white working class

voters and even rural voters. This week the Democratic candidates will

continue a tour of battleground states visiting Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, and Arizona.
