Okay, let's get going. We always start at the top story. At the moment, the top story everywhere

is the latest indictment of former President Donald Trump. It's the third criminal case against him

this year. He was officially charged by the Justice Department on four counts yesterday for

his efforts to overturn his 2020 election loss, ultimately leading to the storming of the Capitol

on January 6, 2021. His grand jury believes he should be held accountable, conspiracy to defraud

the United States government and witness tampering or a couple of the charges. He's expected to be

arraigned in court tomorrow. I'm sure this story's going to dominate the news cycle for a while here.

All right. Okay, getting into sports here in Major League Baseball. Last night was the 2023

trade deadline and the move that's getting the most attention is 40 year old pitcher Justin

Verlander. He just left the Astros in December and signed down with the Mets. And seven months later,

he's heading back to Houston and Astro once more. Goodbye, Mets. They're just cleaning

house over there. The Mets. They also got rid of their, uh, their pitcher Max Scherzer. He's
