before we get there. A few celebrity birthdays. Swimmer, Ryan Locty is celebrating today,

Hannah Simone from New Girl, Evangeline Lilly, Tom Brady, he's 46. James Hetfield of Metallica is

60 and still very metal. He's 60. I can't believe it. Martha Stewart is 82 and Tony Bennett

would have been 97 today. Today is officially Tony Bennett Day here in the U.S. in his honor.

What have been 97 today? Rest in peace, Tony Bennett.

All right, here we go. We always start with the top story, the biggest thing happening today.

Will, of course, be the arraignment of former president Trump. He scheduled to appear

in federal court in Washington, D.C., today at 4 p.m., and his D.C. is a more liberal spot.

The court could be a little less friendly to Trump than he's used to. In fact, one of his lawyers

already said that they're going to try to move his trial out of D.C., he suggested West Virginia,

where they'd have a better chance of filling a jury with Republicans. Anyway, he'll be in court

today, where he'll most likely plead not guilty. He is not expected to remain in custody in and out.

And it's still yet to be seen, but it's also believed that he won't be handcuffed,

fingerprinted, or have his mug shot taken. And this is such a popular question right now,

but these legal proceedings have no effect on his ability to run for president in 2024.

All right, okay, a few sports headlines now. This is pretty cool. Starting tonight,

the Ocho is back. And it's sticking around for three days. This is the seventh year in a row

that ESPN has done this, but this year, it's longer than ever. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday,

ESPN 2 will become the Ocho, and it will feature a whole bunch of strange sports, the table hockey world

champions, the USA mullet championships, the disc golf pro tour, slam ball, whatever that is.
