We're going to begin with another severe weather outbreak overnight.

Tornadoes, huge hail in the south, storms touching down in Texas,

leaving a trail of destruction west of Dallas.

Ginger back in the studio with us standing by, tracking those threats.

But first, Alex Stone starts us off in hard hit Mineral Wells, Texas.

The damage here is extensive.

I was just talking to the police chief, and he says people rode out this tornado in bathtubs

anywhere they could to stay alive.

There are power crews that are coming in right now.

They're putting up power poles

trying to get the electricity back on. And then this building across from me, this is devastated,

destroyed. People were inside this building and they were trying to stay alive during the tornado.

Oh, tornado right there on the road. Overnight severe storm slamming the south after days of relentless weather.
