Simone dot com federal regulators are investigating the 2014 Chevy Impala after a driver reported that the emergency breaking system activated multiple times without warning.

This could be more bad news for GM.

The driver says that in one instance, the Impala was traveling at 40 miles an hour with no one in front when the brakes all of a sudden just activated.

The car was then hit from behind by another vehicle.

No injuries were reported.
