Good morning America. The Iran ceasefire extended another scary encounter at the airport.

The glass-shattering moment on the ice and the adorable new

addition to the National Zoo. And we begin with the latest on the war with Iran. President Trump

announced an indefinite extension of the two-week ceasefire set to expire in hours. This came after

Iran refused to come to the negotiating table for a new round of peace talks. This unit political

correspondent Rachel Scott is tracking it all from the White House.

And yes, it's been a remarkable set of the 24 hours.

The vice president was preparing to depart for Islamabad when suddenly these peace talks fell apart.

The president ultimately extending the ceasefire, something just days ago, he said he was not willing to do.

This morning, President Trump extending the ceasefire with Iran after plans for face-to-face

negotiations fell apart.

That ceasefire was set to expire in just a matter of hours.

But now the president says it will stay in place until such time as their proposal is

submitted.

And discussions are concluded one way or the other.
